WHY FAST READERS TRY LESS
The real reason fast readers spend less energy but read in a fraction of the time...
For years people have thought that reading speed was just something you were born with. If you've got it... big advantage. But if you don't got it... tough luck. (Hey, at least you have other advantages.)
But recent technology is showing there's a small difference in the minds of fast readers and slow readers.
It has nothing to do with using a lot of energy. (More on that in a moment.) It also has nothing to do with how “smart” you are.
It has to do with a small portion of your brain that I call the AR System.
The AR System let's you rapidly read words at a glance.
As a child, I was always considered a very slow reader.
And I wanted to be able to look over the shoulder of a fast reader and have them show me how they were able to read so fast.
But I couldn't find one who knew how.
And even though I kept reading more, I remained slow.
That is, until I started unintentionally activating the AR system. This gave me a glimpse of what reading faster looked like, and it was fascinating.
All of the sudden, my reading speed shot up to 200 sometimes even 330 words per minute.
The average person on a podcast speaks at about 150 words per minute. At that speed, I was reading faster than I could listen.
Given that I was using audio books to get through books faster, this felt like a huge accomplishment.
But it wasn't enough. And as I continued to research, I eventually discovered the AR system.
The AR system fires off in fractions of a second, and works much faster than sounding out words to read them like we do as a child.
And even though we don't necessarily sound out words the same way out loud like when we learned to read in school, we are still partially using that same skill.
But what if there was another reading pathway that existed in the mind?
One that didn't exist at birth, that we had to develop?
And what if, in slow readers, this pathway is undeveloped, and largely, still reliant on sluggish, outdated reading.
Many prestigious leaders throughout history have been said to have tremendous reading abilities.
President JFK, for example, was said to have a reading speed of 1,200 words per minute. Jimmy Carter also was stated to have the same speed. Thomas Edison was stated to have a speed of over 1,000 words per minute.
President JFK and President Nixon even had their staff trained in speed reading.
Even President JFK's younger brother, Teddy Kennedy, was said to have a secret group of people in the Senate that he trained in speed reading, whose names were not revealed.
The truth is that these people valued speed reading.
Because information is flowing at us faster than ever. Especially in 2025.
And what did Thomas Edison, JFK, and Jimmy Carter all have in common?
They all trained their reading speed.
No doubt they were utilizing the AR system like I was, and like you could be shortly.
The AR system fires at speeds of around 150ms, which is less than 1/6th of a second.
When brains were analyzed by researchers in New Zealand, they found that the slow readers had less activation of the AR system area.
What's more, those same slow readers had more brain activation overall!
This seems to confirm what many slow readers have suspected all along. Fast readers actually spend less energy to read than slow readers.
They try less, spend less energy, and overall struggle less than slow readers. This is even though they sometimes read 300 to 500% faster. (Or more.)
The reason I call it the AR system is because it's your automatic reading system. It automatically recognizes words on the page and translates them into meaning.
Research even shows that it doesn't matter whether the words are CAPITALIZED, lowercase, or LiKe ThIs. The AR system automatically recognizes them and turns them into meaning.
It's truly a powerful system, that many people are not truly leveraging to its full power, or even close to it.
Back in the 1940's, there was a scientist who was doing experiments on how to make people read faster.
He then went on to train pilots in World War II to identify planes in as little as around 1/75th of a second.
The problem was that American pilots needed to be able to identify friendly from foe planes. When flying, conditions were not always clear. Sometimes pilots had an unclear line of sight. Sometimes they only saw the planes for a flash.
They needed to be able to rapidly tell whether it was the plane or a friend or a foe. Misidentifying the plane could result in friendly fire.
So he began to train the pilots using what he'd already been experimenting with in reading.
The results were astonishing. After 50 sessions, 74.7% of cadets were able to identify 90% of planes and ships correctly with just 1/75th of a second of viewing exposure.
Over a million combined Navy and Army personnel learned his techniques.
He was reveled as a hero that helped to save many pilot's lives.
This same scientist went on to train two students to read. He used some of the same techniques that he used to train pilots. With training, one was able to read at 1416 words a minute. Another was able to read 1185 words per minute.
The slower speed is still 7.9 times faster than a typical audio book at normal speed. (Which typically is about 150 words per minute.)
Perhaps now you are seeing that “speed reading” is very plausible. Slow readers are simply untrained readers.
The CIA went on to use his methods to teach their workers how to read faster.
You can become a speed reader too, if you follow the right system.
Before I mentioned that research showed that slow readers had less activation of the AR system area than faster readers.
Sometimes, almost no activation at all.
Here's the fascinating thing. It makes total sense when you look at all the examples of speed reader after speed reader.
In intervention with slow readers, as their skills improved, they showed more activation of the AR system.
Speed readers aren't born, they're made.
It's not just about “more activation” though. Once you get your AR system activated, now you need to get it firing stronger.
Faster, more efficient.
It's about stronger, more efficient activation.
To put it simply: A weak AR system = weak reading.
And a strong AR system?
You guessed it...
Strong reading.
So in order to get faster reading speeds, perhaps the fastest and most powerful way... yet completely ignored by most of society...
The AR system.
And never have I seen a more optimal time for such a breakthrough.
We are being bombarded by more information than ever before.
People's book stacks grow and grow.
It's an amazing time packed with opportunity. And you can take advantage of it when you catapult your reading speed.
President JFK trained and became a speed reader. President Jimmy Carter. Thomas Edison. (The very reason you are able to read this letter from me right now.)
Thomas Edison was said to have over 3,500 notebooks. Surely, he couldn't have done that without having trained his reading speed. He noted, “I didn't read a few books, I read the library.”
In Innovate Like Edison, the author states that Edison “believed that reading would accelerate his development of new ideas, breakthrough solutions, original inventions, and that ultimately, it would lead him to world-changing innovations.”
The point of reading non-fiction books isn't just to get through them. It's about character development.
It's about who you are becoming, and what you desire to accomplish. What kind of change do you want to make on the world?
Look no further than Elon Musk. His brother said Elon read 2 books a day as a child.
Elon has built rocket ships, but he didn't go to school to become an engineer or rocket scientist. He read books on rocket science.
Sometimes people think that speed readers read faster because they're geniuses.
But what if people that read faster are simply more likely to be geniuses, because they read more non-fiction books.
You don't, by the way, have to even have done well in school to be a speed reader.
Or a genius, for that matter.
Even Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein struggled in school.
Even people with dyslexia, which show almost no activation of the AR system area, can begin to activate this area.
Research has shown this for both children and adults.
It doesn't matter how slow you read, or how long you've been reading slow.
Nearly any average person can be a speed reader, if they follow this system.
And no, it doesn't involve “skim reading.”
Of course, you'll be a better skim reader if you're a faster reader.
But this goes to the core of how reading works. How fast your brain can absorb and process information.
Some people seem to think that they can count paragraphs they “skipped” in their reading speed estimates. I think this is silly. This isn't about vanity metrics. It's about what gets real results.
Of course, I'm not saying you'll be able to speed read every book. You may not be able to speed read a book on rocket science without any knowledge at all. But you'll definitely have a better chance.
And it won't happen instantly either. Yes, this system works fast, but it also takes hard work and effort.
If you're willing to put in the hard work now, to make reading easier after, then great.
Just think of all the things you could accomplish. How much more control you'd have. How many more of the right people you could attract into your life.
There's a lot you could accomplish with this.
I used this system to go from a sluggish 75 words per minute, to reading at over 500 words per minute. (Sometimes even more.)
There's a book I had on my shelf for a while. It was from an author a lot of you probably know.
I actually had six copies of this book, because I kept getting more of them free from events. Embarrassingly, I hadn't even finished the book. And I felt dumber each time I got another copy and was reminded of this fact.
One day, I decided to read it front to back. I read it in one day, because I could. And boy did it feel good.
Using the AR system, no longer did I feel frustrated and stupid, reading slow like a snail.
Deep down I knew I was capable, I just never knew how.
Reading and re-reading the same parts over and over again. Like I couldn't help it.
No longer did I feel embarrassed every time someone gave me a book suggestion.
You know the phrase “money loves speed”? Well, personally, I found it hard to go do anything fast after slugging my way through a book.
For me, it makes me feel way more at ease. Way more in control. And way more skilled.
And even though I don't really believe we have “competition”, it sure does feel like a competitive advantage.

Before

After
I used to get a lot of audio books. Now I go out of my way to get the text version!
And guess what... the part of your brain that processes audio is on the opposite side of your brain as the AR system.
That's right. If you are someone who “relies” on audio books as a slow reader, your AR system could be underdeveloped!
Now is an incredible time to increase your reading speed.
I've put together a powerful program to teach people exactly how to do it. Nuts and bolts.
So they can get through books faster and get everything that comes with that.
Of course, you could try to figure it out on your own. And take years figuring it out like I have.
Or you can shortcut the path.
Follow the simple step-by-step process that I've laid outside Reading Phenom 2025.
You'll get access to my secret software for improving your reading and developing the AR system.
The tools are fundamental to your success.
The pilots I mentioned before had access to a special training tool.
And I'm including much more than just one powerful tool.
Remember, these tools are all about turning you into a highly skilled reader. And I want to help you get those results fast.
The training is short and to the point, but rich in practical detail.
I don't want to waste your time with “hundreds of hours of training” for no apparent reason. To me this makes no sense and will slow you down in your results.
Maybe some people are okay with making small gains over the course of a year. I want better results than that.
Maybe you aren't interested in reading 1000 words per minute. Maybe you'd be happy with just getting to 300 or 400 words per minute. That's totally reasonable.
Of course, it will take some time to go through the training and use the tools.
However, some of the training you can even do while you read books you want to read anyway.
And of course, naturally, you'll also save time reading books as you get better and better results.
You stand to save hundreds of hours and you will be well-equipped to keep getting better with reading speed, long after you are done this program.
When you think about the value you're getting and what this can do for you, you could easily say this is worth $25,000. But it's not going to cost you that much.
It isn't even $10,000, or $5,000. It's actually just $399 for the year.
You can also pay 2 payments of $199. Or 4 payments of just $99.
I want you to look back years from now and look at this purchase as one of the best purchases you've made.
You'll get access to all the software and training modules immediately (not dripped out). You'll have access for the next year.
Here's what you're getting access to:
- Access to the training on how to read faster, while still retaining strong comprehension, that could double your reading speed within weeks.
- Access to the software for training your reading speed, built in conjunction with the training, which you get access to for 12 months following your purchase.
- Access to training on how to effectively use the software to improve your reading speed.

FAQ
Do I need to be smart to use this system?
No. Actually, if you at any point in school, did not do very well, it will likely be easier for you to grasp more quickly.
What books can be read inside the software?
The point of the software is to help you in increasing your reading speed. The goal is not to read books inside the software, but rather to use the software to increase your reading speed, no matter where or when you are reading, instead of using the software as a crutch. There are many books that are also not available digitally, for example only in paperback or perhaps magazines.
I look forward to seeing you on the inside.
